Political Philosophy Workshop at Zhuhai

Department of Philosophy (Zhuhai), Sun Yat‐sen University

The political philosophy workshop at Zhuhai is a value‐formative forum for the presentation of imperative research in all varieties of political philosophy, including the history of political thought, contemporary political theory, comparative political philosophy, and philosophical reflection on fundamental political concepts or phenomena. Our monthly workshop held at the third Thursday of each month will also examine the essential theoretical and practical issues spanning around the world and provide them with cross‐cultural frameworks which illuminate both the particularities of East Asia and the universality of humanity. Workshop papers and lectures include presentations of work in progress by invited guests from around the world, as well as Sun Yat‐sen University faculty. This workshop has no particular methodology or political ideology orientation.
