Prof. Philip Pettit’s Visit in our Department!

It was pleasant and an honor to have Prof. Philip Pettit’s visit in our department during 15-16th March 2018.
Prof. Pettit had given two lectures with the titles “A New Republicanism” and “Rousseau and Republic” respectively.
He also kindly gave the responses in the welcoming roundtable with the title “Republicanism in East Asian Context”,.
The speakers invited include Prof. Demin DUAN from Peking University, Prof. Rui HAN from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Prof. Qin CAO from Nankai University, Prof. Mario WENNING from University of Macau, Dr. Tim BEAURMENT and Dr Yihsoong YU from our department.
The moderator was Prof. Jun-Hyeok KWAK, he is the chair of both the Political Philosophy and the Global Justice Workshop.
