Susanne Kathrin Beiweis博士正式加入我系

         Susanne Kathrin Beiweis 博士最近正式加入中山大学哲学系（珠海），担任专职科研系列副研究员。她获得了维也纳大学的硕士学位和博士学位。Susanne Beiweis 于2011年在慕尼黑大学做短期访问的研究员。此外，在2012-2013年间，她在维也纳国际文化研究中心做初级研究员；在2013-2014年间，她在加州大学做访问研究员。

        Susanne Beiweis博士的主要研究领域是哲学史以及文艺复兴时期与近代早期艺术、自然与科学交叉的思想。她已经出版了一些关于十四十五世纪的占星术、魔法以及医学方面理论的作品。

        Dr. Susanne Kathrin Beiweis has recently accepted an offer to join the Philosophy Department (Zhuhai Campus) at Sun Yat-sen University as associate researcher. She obtained both her Master’s and Ph.D. degree at the University of Vienna. Susanne Beiweis worked as a short-term visiting researcher at the University of Munich (LMU) in 2011. Furthermore, she worked as a junior fellow at the International Center for Cultural Studies, Vienna (IFK) from 2012-2013 and as a visiting researcher at the University of California (UCLA) from 2013-2014.

         Susanne Beiweis’ main interests lie in the history of philosophy and ideas with a specific focus on the intersection of art, nature, and science in the Renaissance and Early Modern period.  She has published several articles on theories of astrology, magic, and medicine in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries.
