萧浩健助理教授正式加入我系

      萧浩健博士于2020年9月正式加入中山大学哲学系（珠海），担任“百人计划”助理教授岗位。

      萧浩健在美国布朗大学取得哲学博士学位。在加入中山大学哲学系（珠海）之前，他曾在香港理工大学、香港浸会大学和美国德州农工大学担任讲师。最近他的论文在Philosophical Studies和Linguistics and Philosophy上发表。

      他的主要研究方向为语言哲学、语意学和逻辑。

  Dr. Charlie Siu joined the Department of Philosophy (Zhuhai) at Sun Yat-sen University as Assistant Professor in September 2020. He completed his PhD in 2018 at Brown University. He specializes in the  philosophy of language, semantics and logic. In particular, he is interested in how meaning works together with principles of rational cooperation to make communication possible. His papers have recently been published in Philosophical Studies and Linguistics and Philosophy.

 Before joining Sun Yat-sen University, he taught at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, and Texas A&M University.
